Single Loop Stitch Cushion - Terminada

Consegui acabar na hora da sesta da C. mas foi só ao final da tarde, depois de ter ido buscar o G. à creche e depois do lanche que a fotografei para fazer agora o post. Sinto-me aliviada. Mas contente porque ficou como imaginei..! A C. também gostou e veio "infiltrar-se" na sessão fotográfica.

I ended it on C.'s nap time but only in the afternoon, after picking up G. from school and after afternoon tea, I took a few photos to make this post now. I feel relieved. But happy because it is just like I imagined it would be..! C liked too and she came "into" the photoshoot.

Agora vou dedicar-me à prenda para o aniversário do meu pai..! Já escolhi (e já comecei!) e posso dizer que nem é um cachecol nem são umas luvas. Mas isso fica para um próximo post! Beijinhos e bom fim-de-semana a todas! Andreia

Passo-a-passo: Single Loop Stitch

Este é o ponto que eu considero (até hoje..!) mais difícil de executar. Não foi por isso que desisti do projecto que tinha em mente, mas confesso que não vejo a hora de ver o fim! A capa para a almofada da C. está quase terminada e venho então deixar-vos o passo-a-passo. As imagens e a minha explicação podem não ser bem esclarecedoras, mas este vídeo do Youtube explica muitíssimo bem!

I consider this stitch (until today..!) the most difficult to make. Although I didn't give up the project I had in my mind, I confess I'm diying to finish it! The cover for C.'s cushion is almost complete and for that reason I let you with the step-by-step. My images and explaination may not be very understandable, but this Youtube's video explains very well! 

1. Fazer correntes no tamanho que se pretende.

1.Make chains on the size you want.

2. Fazer pontos baixos (1 por cada corrente).
2. Make sc (1 for each ch).

3. Virar e enfiar a agulha no primeiro ponto.
3. Turn and pass the needle through first st.

4. Passar a agulha por trás da lã (virada para trás) e ir buscar a lã, fazendo um anel no dedo.

4. Pass the needle behind the yarn (turned back) and get the yarn, making a ring in the finger.

5. Passar apenas por um loop.
5. Pass through only one loop.

6. Buscar a lã. 
6. Yarn over.

7. Puxar a lã pelos dois loops da agulha.
7. Pass through the two loops ine the needle.

8. Tirar o dedo e obtemos o primeiro loop stitch.
8. Get finger off and you'll get your first loop stitch.

9. Novamente, agora apenas com imagens.
9. Again, this time only with images.

Finalizada a carreira, virar o trabalho e fazer pontos baixos.
When you finish the round, turn and make sc.

E voltar a fazer os loop stitch. De um lado, vamos ter uma face lisa:

A decidir..!

A capa para a almofada em Single Loop Stitch está a meio..e apesar de ficar com um efeito engraçado, demora muito a fazer..! Esta lã castanha, que eu comprei a pensar na prenda de aniversário do meu pai em Novembro, está à espera que eu me decida. Para crianças e mulheres o crochet é tão versátil, mas para homens torna-se tão complicado. É tudo tão linear. O mais provável é um cachecol ou umas luvas. 

The Single Loop Stitch cushion cover is in the middle and, in spite of creating a funny efect, it takes too long making..! The brown wool, which I bought thinking about my father's birthday present in November, is waiting for me to decide. For children and women, crochet is so versatile, but for men is more complicated. It's all so linear. Most likely will be a scarf or a pair of gloves.

O Halloween que está a chegar..! Mais uma razão para pegar nas agulhas! Depois vem o S. Martinho e as castanhas que eu adoro! O tempo está a passar tão depressa...Beijinhos

WIPs do momento

Começou a altura do ano que mais gosto. O frio pela manhã, os dias cada vez mais pequenos e as rotinas das escolas. As mantas começam a pouco e pouco a sair dos armários e a ficarem espalhadas pelas camas e pelos sofás. Ainda ando de manga curta em casa, mas à noite, no silêncio dos meus bebés a dormir e eu a crochetar lá vou eu fazer um chá bem quente..!

Os meses que se vão seguir são os meus preferidos porque há sempre alguém a fazer anos (os meus pais, as minhas irmãs mais velhas, eu, os meus filhos, o meu sogro e os meus cunhados - é muita gente..!), para além do Halloween, do Natal e da Passagem de Ano. Este ano, tenho ainda duas amigas que vão ter bebés em Novembro..! E como eu adoro ter a casa cheia e fazer comida para muita gente, eu simplesmente amo esta época. Agora só descanso quando eu e a minha irmã do meio fizermos anos (final de Fevereiro). 

This is my favourite time of the year. The cool mornings, the smaller and smaller days and the school routines. The blankets started to get out of the closets and stayed on the beds and on the couches. I'm still in the house in short sleeves, but at night, in the silence of my babies sleeping and me crocheting I allways do some hot tea..!

The following months are my favourites because there is allways someone's birthday ( my parents, my older sisters, me, my babies, my father-in-law and my brothers-in-law - it's too many people..!), besides there is Halloween, Christmas and New Year. This year, I also have two friends who are having babies in November..! I love having a full house and love cooking for many people, I simply love this season. Now I can only rest when my sister and I have our birthday (final February).

Enquanto o mês de Setembro não acaba, aproveito para fazer já as prendinhas para as bebés das minhas duas amigas e fico já despachada. Prefiro fazer nas calmas e guardar o presente para dar do que andar a fazer às pressas, que nunca dá bom resultado. 

While September doesn't ends, I'm making the presents for the baby girls of my friends. I'd rather do slowly with plenty of time, than do it in a hurry, it never has good results.

Também estava na minha lista o Single Loop Stitch, que eu meti na cabeça que tinha que o aprender, apesar de ser difícil. É um ponto que no início do blog não o conseguiria fazer. E agora ainda me custou um pouco ao início. Mas fica um resultado digno de uma menina. Desta vez uma almofada para a C., para acompanhar a colcha que também está a crescer..!

Also in my list was the Single Loop Stitch, that I had to learn, although it was dificult. On the beggining of my blog, I couldn't do it. And now it is still a little hard for me. But the result is worthy to a girly. This time a cushion for little C., with the growing blanket daisy..!
